Insurance finally agreed to come up on the roofing price after some estimates and back and forth for several months. The window and siding payment was still undervalued, but they said they would negotiate once I got the work done and had receipts. I am having trouble even getting estimates because everyone is so busy. We agreed to the roofing payout and paid a deposit. I think it will be several months before the work actually gets done. I'm guessing we will have to pay around $5k out of pocket for a new roof, two windows, and fixing the siding. Which isn't terrible.

My shower warranty got denied. I've called around and got quotes from $2.5k to $6k, which is out of our budget. So it's looking like I will be attempting to repair it myself. Ugh. I will worry about it after our vacation this month.

Got my lumpectomy and thankfully I am CANCER FREE!! Yay! Unfortunately, I am considered high risk for developing it, so they are setting up yearly mammograms, MRIs, and 2x yearly breast exams. I was a bit unhappy with adding more to my yearly medical plate, but overall glad it's benign and I will deal with the extra appointments.
