I am still fighting with insurance to fix my roof and siding. They gave me a really lowball offer so I'm getting more quotes and arguing with them. My roofing estimates are $17k, whereas the insurance is trying to say it's only worth $12k and I only get 68% of that minus my $2k deductible. So they are offering to give me something like $6k. Yikes.
Besides all the house issues, I also had a major medical scare. My doctor decided she wanted to recheck my breast lump I've had since having kids. And the mammogram came back unexpectedly BIRADS 5, which is >95% chance of cancer.
I got a biopsy and it came back benign which is great, but the doctors think it is wrong. So now I am scheduled next month to get a lumpectomy so they can test the entire mass. I'm hoping they are wrong and it's benign but early breast cancer greatly runs in my family, unfortunately. Like I needed any more health issues... I cried about it for a couple days and now I'm just kind of trying not to freak out. Holding on to the hope that the initial biopsy came back clear.
Still waiting on the shower tile claim to be approved or denied by warranty as well. Just a lot of bad is going on in my life right now.

I can't imagine what you went through when the Doctors told you that they think you may have cancer even though the biopsy indicated it wasn't cancerous. I do hope the biopsy was right!
