Payments & Bills

August 20th, 2019 at 09:30 am

I paid $1,022 on my CC for August bringing my balance to $4,846! So exciting to be under $5k, next month will be a lot smaller progress.

Sold and delivered 2 goats this weekend so I put money back for the last batch of hay this year.

I have 4 possibly 5 more goats sold which will go to their new homes next month. So that will be a nice big chunk of change to come in. That will be almost the end of the goat sales for this year.

Paid for our birthing classes and put back the final $200 for our vacation spending money. Everything is completely paid for, so next month we will get to go and have a good time without worrying about finances. That makes vacations SO much better.

Got an estimated bill for my delivery. $6k+
Also had to get a full cardiac workup, and the baby has to get an echo as well ($3,700ish each) so it looks like we are going to hit our OOP medical this year and next year unfortunately. $12,000....

So far we have been paying bills as they come in with HSA money. We will not have enough for the echos when the bill comes in. So we will likely have to make payments. Stinks to get our only debt almost gone to have to take on more debt. Oh well. I am confident we can have everything paid within a year.
