Proposal is over, and now it's time to catch up with everything... Work, cleaning, fun.
I paid all my bills, and have almost all the materials purchased for the desk. I went to 3 different hardware stores yesterday, and still have another to go to. They don't keep enough in stock.
Also, I think I have located 2 goats that I will be able to purchase. Not exactly what I wanted, but still good. And each one is $100 less than the ones I had reserved. So that will save me $200.
The goat kids are a joy to watch. They are so full of energy, and love running in a big herd and jumping and playing. Too cute!

It snowed here yesterday so we're still only planning on paper.
Sorry, I'm woefully ignorant...Do breeders usually know in advance what sex will be kidded? Are the kids difficult to transport? Do you use kennels like we use for our dogs? If you have time, we all enjoy photos of the new additions.

We planted tomatoes, green and jalapeno peppers, potatoes, onions, strawberries, and we have grapes and blackberries growing.
No you can't tell what gender will be born. You just cross your fingers and hope for girls. This year I did pretty badly, 6 boys and 3 girls so far. Goats are easy to transport. They enjoy riding in the car, and just lay down. You can put them in a pet taxi, but we usually just turn them loose in the back of the mini van and put something up to block them from climbing into the front. I'll try to get some pictures.
